I'm an 18 year old male from Cape Cod who is constantly oppressed by the matriarchy.

I literally cannot wait for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to come out on DVD. I’m going to make so many rape GIFs to post in social justice tags.

Pendark’s two cents worth: You pretty much said it as I would.  The irony of the situation is that you and I will be told we are unreasonable and hateful for saying it.  The idealistic, who take every action in their lives based on a sense that they “deserve” or “are owed” rarely like being told that is what they are doing.

Really, if you’re going to an institution to learn fucking ideology rather than a trade, skill, or useful field,

you’re wasting your money.

Gender studies, women’s studies, LGBT studies. Shit like this.

Read a book, surf the net, watch a documentary. Go on Wikipedia for fuck’s sake.

These aren’t practical fields of study. It’s especially embarrassing if you’re of the “social justice” crowd, as you preach about privilege all the live-long day, but then flat-out waste money on an area you could have just learned about on your own time. This isn’t exactly like teaching yourself organic chemistry.

So if you get laughed out of your job interview and then bitch about ending up in retail management, blame yourself. You and your privilege, dumbass. Oh, but feel free to complain about the “kyriarchy” or the patriarchy at this point. Because someone had the audacity to point out that your degree is worth less than the paper and ink that it constitutes. Because you went to school to get an indoctrination instead of an education.

^ this. this. this.

Those majors work…if you plan on becoming part of the academia or something.

I should point out that without the people in those areas of study, we wouldn’t have the information we have now on Wikipedia and such.

Oh, yes, because we need more people preaching bullshit.

It is vain to fight totalitarianism by adopting totalitarian methods. Freedom can only be won by men unconditionally committed to the principles of freedom. The first requisite for a better social order is the return to unrestricted freedom of thought and speech.

For all the Occupiers out there calling for greater government intervention in the economy.

I hope this didn’t hurt your sensitive little feelings.
